Minutes for the MPI/RT Fourm meeting at MITRE, Boston on 18 September, 2000

1.  There was a lengthy discussion regarding the future of the MPI/RT forum.  
    Arkady Kanevsky offered a motion to "mothball" the standard and stop 
    meeting.  Since there was nobody willing to second this motion, an 
    alternate proposal was offered by Dennis Cottel, seconded by James Lebak.  
    This motion proposed to:
    a. complete the MPI/RT 1.1 document by June 2001, 
    b. reevaluate the direction of the forum, and additional activities that 
       may be undertaken eg. Fault Handling.
    c. emphasize the completion  of the MPI/RT 1.1 standard as opposed to the 
       totality of proposals resolved.
    Proposal accepted by formal vote: 6/1/1

7.  Receptor wait proposal
    a. Fix C++ bindings
    b. Sections 10.2 and 10.3, change "main program" to "program"
    c. Move section 10.2 to section 10.2.2 and section 10.3 to 
       section 10.3.2.
    d. 2nd Formal vote: 5/0/1

8.  Container operations proposal
    a. Add a proposal for container wait (all, any, some)
    b. Remove search order parameter and remove error invalid mode 
       proposal accepted by straw vote: 5/1/1

9.  MPIT_INT64_EXPORT32 proposal
    a. Fix C++ bindings (MPIRT::INT64_EXPORT32)
    b. 2nd Formal vote 6/0/0

10. Container Iterator proposal
    a. 1st formal vote 5/0/1
